Eggy Bread

Another hangover classic. Yes that’s right it’s the weekend and I have learnt no lessons. I know you too are partial to a little Friday night exuberance so this should be helpful.

Ingredients
As many eggs as people eating (plus 1)
Bread (nice stuff ideally like sourdough but this is not essential if you are skint)
Milk (just a splash)
Ketchup – I think this is essential.

1. Break eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork, loosen with a little splash of milk. Put some oil in a frying pan and heat up.

2. Pour the egg mixture onto a plate with a rim so it doesn’t spill. Slice the bread and dip into the egg – both sides so it is good and egged.

3. Put the bread into the pan to fry. Turn over and make sure both sides are golden.

You could get fancier and serve with bacon etc but bollocks to it…your hungover and Ketchup will do just fine. yum πŸ™‚
